Day by Day Journey
Day 1 | Arrival in Lima
The energy is electric. A private transfer whisks you to a stylish hotel in Miraflores—close to the coast, close to the action. Dinner is a hands-on introduction to Peruvian cuisine: anticuchos, causas, and the first taste of chicha morada. Teens get the lay of the land—and the menu.
Day 2 | Lima’s Urban Edge
Morning kicks off with a private guide through the historic center—not just history, but power plays, pirate attacks, and colonial intrigue. In Barranco, the afternoon is all about street art, bohemian vibes, and the famous Bridge of Sighs. Optional: a bike ride along the Malecón, with the Pacific crashing below. The pace is yours to set.
Day 3 | Lima to the Sacred Valley
The flight over the Andes is a geography lesson come to life. The Sacred Valley unfolds—vast, dramatic, alive. Afternoon acclimatization means time to explore the hotel’s trails, spot condors, and test the altitude with a light hike. This is the calm before the adventure.
Day 4 | The Sacred Valley – Action & Tradition
Morning: zip-lining across the valley or a mountain-bike descent through ancient paths—choose your thrill. Afternoon: a Quechua family welcomes you to their home. No passive observation here—teens grind corn, fire clay pots, and learn to weave on backstrap looms. The stories are raw, real, and unforgettable.
Day 5 | Ollantaytambo – Climb & Conquer
The fortress looms. The climb is a challenge—and that’s the point. From the top, the valley grid reveals itself: astronomical alignments, agricultural genius, Inca precision. Teens get the full breakdown—engineering, warfare, rebellion. Afternoon free to explore the village’s canals and cobblestone alleys on your own.
Day 6 | Machu Picchu – The Ultimate Payoff
Morning starts with the Belmond Hiram Bingham train—brass, wood, white tablecloths, and live criollo music. Arrival at Machu Picchu with a private guide who speaks teen: no dull lectures, just mind-blowing facts, hidden corners, and the best photo spots. Plenty of time to explore, sit, or simply let the place sink in. No rush. No crowds. Just the wonder.
Entry times are pre-arranged for the best experience—sunlight, solitude, and sweeping views.
Day 7 | Machu Picchu to Cusco – Arts & Afternoon Vibes
A slow morning at the lodge—breakfast with a view, optional short hike to the Sun Gate for the adventurous. Return train to Cusco in the afternoon. San Blas welcomes you with open workshops: screen-printing, ceramic glazing, silver casting. Teens get hands-on, and they keep what they make.
Day 8 | Cusco – Choose Your Own Adventure
Morning: private visits to San Blas artisans—weavers, jewelers, painters—each with a story and a skill to share. Afternoon is totally open: explore the Qorikancha ruins, shop the San Pedro market for quirky souvenirs, or just chill in the plaza with a hot chocolate and watch Cusco move at its own pace. This is their time.
Day 9 | Departure from Cusco
Private transfer to the airport. Phones are full of photos. Heads are full of stories. The journey ends, but the conversations—about Inca astronomy, jungle trains, Andean textures—will carry on for years.
